JASON W. ADKINS

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Jason W. Adkins joined Bluebird Fiber in March of 2024. He is a twenty nine-year fiber industry veteran, most recently serving as CEO of Unite Private Networks. Adkins also served as a part of the management teams with Windstream, Kentucky Data Link, Inc, (KDL), Level 3 Communications, TelCove, Conterra Networks and KMC Telecom. Adkins earned a B.B.A. in Marketing with a minor in Economics from James Madison and earned an MBA from Radford University.

TRAVIS NOBLE

CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER

Travis Noble, entered his role as Chief Revenue Officer at Bluebird Fiber in July of 2024. He boasts 31 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Enterprise, K-12 and Government Sales at Unite Private Networks (UPN)/Segra. In this role, he led the company’s enterprise sales activities across the West, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Texas.

Under his nine years of leadership at UPN/Segra, the company realized significant growth across their footprint.

Previously, Travis operated as the Vice President and General Manager of both Level 3 Communications and TW Telecom after his time with MCI Communications.

Travis earned a Bachelor of Arts from Iowa State University.

JEREMY ANDREWS

EVP, STRATEGY AND DEVELOPMENT

Jeremy joined Bluebird in August of 2025, he brings 20 years of industry experience most recently serving as Group Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Segra. In this role Jeremy was responsible for cost management across multiple products and divisions. Additionally Jeremy has held leadership roles at Unite Private Networks where he led carrier sales, sales engineering, and carrier relations as well as Zayo Group where he spent 13 years successfully leading teams across multiple channels and roles.

Jeremy and his wife Melissa have 4 kids and are very active in their community including his alma mater Oklahoma State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing

Shayne Rausenberger is the Vice President of Carrier Sales at Bluebird Fiber, where he has been an integral part of the team for over five years. Throughout his tenure, Shayne has earned a reputation as a successful and respected Senior Carrier Sales Manager. His deep industry expertise and strategic approach to sales have played a key role in the growth and success of Bluebird Fiber.

Before joining Bluebird, Shayne worked at Zayo for two years, where he managed several of the company’s largest Fortune 500 accounts. His ability to develop strong, lasting relationships with high-profile clients helped drive significant business growth. Prior to his time at Zayo, Shayne held the position of Regional Sales Manager at WOW Business, where he consistently ranked as the top performer, leading his team to success.

Shayne is known for his strategic sales mindset and his ability to dive deep into accounts to uncover new opportunities and deliver results. His clear vision and leadership will be essential to the continued success of Bluebird Fiber’s carrier team and the broader sales organization.

Shayne earned a Bachelor of Science from New Jersey City University

KELLY HARRELL

VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE

Kelly Harrell, Vice President of Finance at Bluebird Fiber, has been an integral part of the company’s leadership team since joining in February 2022. A licensed CPA in the state of Missouri, Kelly brings over 15 years of experience in financial management, with a strong background in public accounting, specializing in audit and assurance.

Throughout her career, she has worked closely with businesses across various industries, providing financial oversight, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing best practices in financial reporting. Her expertise in auditing and assurance has given her a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of financial operations, allowing her to drive strategic financial planning and risk management at Bluebird.

With a commitment to accuracy and efficiency, Kelly plays a crucial role in maintaining the company’s financial health and supporting its continued growth in the fiber industry. Her leadership and analytical approach help ensure that Bluebird remains financially strong, agile, and well-positioned for future expansion.

KEVIN AUGSPURGER

Vice President, IT and Systems

Kevin Augspurger is an accomplished IT professional with over 20 years’ experience in the industry, 10 of which have been in the telecommunications field. In his career, Kevin specializes in networking, IT security, server/cloud infrastructure, IT management, and facilities/real estate. Additionally, Kevin holds certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing + Switching; CCNA Security; and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).

DANIEL JOHNSTON

Vice President, Network Architecture and Engineering

Daniel is a veteran telecommunications leader with two decades of experience designing, building, and optimizing advanced network infrastructures. As Vice President of Network Architecture and Engineering at Bluebird Fiber, he spearheads the strategic evolution of the network infrastructure utilizing Bluebird’s fiber-optic network, ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient connectivity across the Midwest and beyond.

In this role, Daniel leads a cross-functional team of engineers and network architects responsible for network planning, design, implementation, and ticket escalations. He plays a central role in aligning Bluebird’s technical vision with business goals—supporting customer growth, enhancing service reliability, and driving innovation in transport, IP, and data center networking.

Since joining Bluebird, Daniel has held progressively senior positions, consistently delivering on complex projects that expand, modernize, and integrate an expanding network footprint. His leadership has been key in developing Bluebird’s long-haul and metro fiber strategy, as well as implementing next-generation technologies that support mission-critical services.

Daniel is based in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area and earned his BS in Accounting from the University of Missouri Kansas City. He holds certifications in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), MEF Carrier Ethernet Professional Training 2.0, Nokia Network Routing Specialist I and II.

KELLY MCLELLAN

Area Vice President, Vendor Relations

Kelly McLellan joined Bluebird Fiber as Area Vice President Vendor Relations in January of 2025. She brings over twenty-five years of experience in the telecommunications industry, most recently serving as Senior Director of Access Management at Unite Private Networks (UPN)/Segra. Kelly’s analytical skills and process acumen have enabled her success in the areas of carrier relations, product management, process design and optimization. Prior to her time at Segra, she held management positions at Uniti Fiber, Peg Bandwidth and Zayo.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Missouri.
